Garage Sale In A West Chester Garage

The Chestnut Street Parking garage in West Chester is a perfect place for a vintage garage sale

Vendors of antiques, jewelry and other vintage items set up in the garage during First Friday festivities in May-September. The next and final Vintage Garage Sale of the year will be September 2.

The Vintage Garage is now in its second year. It is sponsored by the West Chester Parks and Recreation Department. “We are thrilled to have our second season of these unique sales that bring shoppers to town while still supporting our local retailers,” said West Chester Parks and Recreation Director Keith Kurowski.

 “A night market like this is a wonderful addition to First Friday in Downtown West Chester. Attendees can shop, eat, and listen to live music all while enjoying a beautiful summer evening in West Chester.” Kurowski adds that the atmosphere is not what one would expect from a regular parking garage on these special nights, “Our landscaping sponsor, Finnerty Landscaping, turns the garage into an inviting atmosphere with plants, arbors, benches and other decor.”
