For Those Still in the Dark, Waiting and Wondering

Some 30,000-plus customers in the region still don't have power.

For the remaining 30,000-plus PECO customers still in the dark, the road to power may be long.

PECO already has addressed the region's major issues, fixes that restored power to thousands at one time. The problems that remain each impact relatively few customers, and so PECO's work on those sites won't make a  noticeable difference to the total number of outages.

"Restoration times for specific outages may change frequently.  In some situations, an outage may even be reported as restored, when in fact, an outage remains," PECO said.

Customers should continue to report trouble areas to PECO at 1-800-841-4141, the utility company said.

Some customers may continue to be without power for several days, PECO said.
