Citizens Bank Foundation donated a $5,000 grant to the West Chester Food Cupboard as part of its Citizens Helping Citizens Fight Hunger initiative which provides grants to various nonprofits throughout Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware that provide hunger relief, nutrition assistance, and help improve access to food for families. The grant will allow the West Chester Food Cupboard to provide local families with boxes of food for school-aged children during July and August for its Summer Food Program for Children. The Food Cupboard also received support from Jim and Adean Bridges and their team at Woodward McCoach in West Chester for their volunteers who packed 600 boxes of food for the Food Cupboard’s Summer Food Program for Children.
