Chesterbrook Academy Elementary School Students Host Local Heroes for Veterans Day Lunch

On Nov. 8, Chesterbrook Academy Elementary School in West Chester hosted 13 local heroes for lunch in honor of Veterans Day. The school served sandwiches from Panera Bread as the veterans shared their stories. Students also shared stories they wrote about patriotism and sang patriotic songs. 

 

Chesterbrook Academy students and teachers also participated in the national GI Go Jeans for Troops Day, during which they collected $5 donations to wear jeans to school to benefit the GI Go Fund.
