West Goshen Police Arrest Two for Alleged DUI
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
DUI: On Dec. 9, at approximately 12:08 a.m., West Goshen Police responded to an accident involving one vehicle and a guardrail on southbound Route 202 north of South Matlack Street. Further investigation revealed that the 26-year-old operator of the vehicle was allegedly under the influence of alcohol to the extent that rendered her incapable of operating a motor vehicle. Police arrested Sharde Maduro, 26, Coatesville for an alleged DUI and related traffic offenses.
DUI: On Dec. 7, at approximately 10:45 p.m., West Goshen police responded to a two-vehicle accident on the northbound side of Route 202 south of the Paoli Pike exit ramp. The operator of the striking vehicle, 38-year-old Philadelphia resident Dwayne Baker, was taken to the Chester County Hospital for head and neck injuries. Further investigation revealed that Baker was allegedly under the influence of alcohol.
