West Chester Man Breaks into Ex's Home, Police Say

The man was charged with burglary, according to West Chester Police.

 

The following incidents were reported by West Chester Borough Police. Arrest, when mentioned, does not suggest conviction.

Apparently They Broke Up For a Reason

On March 20, West Chester Borough Police responded to the 50 block of West Market Street for a report of a burglary in progress. Officers say they determined a 23-year-old West Chester man had broken into his ex-girlfriend’s apartment. Police say the defendant was charged with burglary, criminal trespassing, and criminal mischief.

Credit Card Fraud and Drug Arrest

On March 18 at 3:30 a.m., West Chester Borough Police responded to the 50 block of Gay Street for a disturbance. Upon arrival, they encountered a man with an outstanding warrant from West Goshen Police for credit card fraud. Police say that after they placed the man in custody, they found that he was in possession of several prescription pain pills for which he was not prescribed. Police charged the man with possession of a controlled substance and turned him over to West Goshen Police.

DUI

On March 18 at 2:35 a.m., West Chester Borough Police pulled over a Lincoln University student for driving without headlights. Police say the man was arrested and charged with DUI and traffic violations.
