Report: Man Sentenced for DUI Collision
A 20-year-old Newtown Square resident was sentenced for causing a drunk-driving related accident on May 1.
The Daily Local reports that 20-year-old Newtown Square resident Cameron Smith was sentenced to 72 hours to 23 months of jail time for his role in a head-on drunk driving accident that occurred on May 1.
According to the Daily Local, Westtown-East Goshen police were dispatched to Route 202 in Westtown just south of Cheyney Road in the early morning hours.
It was later determined that Smith's BAC registered at twice the legal limit at the time at .17, the Daily Local says.
