Police: Man Steals from Marble Store

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

 

Criminal Trespass: On Oct. 28, at approximately 2:35 a.m., West Chester police responded to the 300 block of Sharon Alley for a report of an intoxicated subject.  As a result of the ensuing investigation, it was determined that the allegedly intoxicated subject had allegedly broken into an apartment in the 300 block of South High Street.  Police arrested 20-year-old Coatesville resident Paul Long for alleged criminal trespass.

Trespassing: On Oct. 24, at approximately 10:33 p.m., an officer was flagged down by the Justice Center Garage attendant who informed the officer that there was a subject sleeping under the stairwell.  An officer made contact with the subject and told him not to return.

On Oct. 25, at approximately 12:08 a.m.  the garage attendant called the police claiming the man had returned and was once again sleeping under the stairwell.  Police arrested the man for alleged criminal Trespass.

Theft: On Oct. 25, police were dispatched to the 300 block of East Market Street for a theft investigation at AAA Hellenic Marble.  As a result of the investigation police arrested 33-year-old West Chester resident Jamil Bond for alleged theft.
