Police Botter: Man Urinates on Barnaby's

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

 

Theft: West Chester police arrested 20-year-old homeless male Jonathan Laughlin on Jan. 13 for allegedly breaking into cars and stealing cash.  According to police, Laughlin was caught by homeowners in the 100 block of South Benjamin Drive in West Chester.  When the homeowners confronted Laughlin he allegedly punched one of them in the nose.  Laughlin was ultimately restrained until the police arrived.  Laughlin allegedly then admitted to stealing money from several cars over the last couple of weeks.

Drug Possession: Police arrested 25-year-old Exton resident Michael Ruggirello allegedly urinating on the door and steps of Barnaby’s at 15 South High Street on Jan. 14.  Police stopped Ruggirello, and upon searching him police allegedly discovered drugs and drug paraphernalia on his person.

Drug Possession: Police arrested 36-year-old Downingtown resident Kelly Hepfl on Jan. 13 at 5:55 p.m.  Police were alerted to the presence of an intoxicated female in the vicinity of 220 West Market Street.  Upon arrival, police came into contact with Hepfl.  Police took Hepfl into custody for alleged public drunkenness and also found her to allegedly be in possession of marijuana and pills not prescribed to her.
