Police Arrest Man After He Allegedly Drives Through Roadblock
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
DUI: On Sept. 3, at approximately 10:25 p.m., West Chester police responded to the 800 block of Lenape Road for a report of a traffic accident. After an investigation, police arrested a 32-year-old Kennett Square resident for an alleged DUI and related offenses.
DUI: On Aug. 31, at approximately 2:21 a.m. police arrested a 22-year-old Jamison resident for an alleged DUI after the suspected allegedly tried to flee from the scene of an accident in the 100 block of East Nields Street.
DUI: On Sept. 3, police stopped 25-year-old Morgantown resident Corey Mullen after he allegedly drove through a police roadblock that was set up due to high water on the roadway. Investigation revealed that Mullen was allegedly operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
Drugs: On Sept. 1, at approximately 3:22 a.m. police allegedly located a 22-year-old West Chester inside the Stroud Preserve after hours. The suspect was allegedly found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana as well as drug paraphernalia.
