Police: 40 Arrests Made from April 16-22

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

 

DUI: As a result of a traffic stop, West Chester police arrested 42-year-old Broomall resident Beth Birmingham for an alleged DUI on April 27, in the 500 block of East Market Street.

Theft: On April 27, at approximately 1:29 p.m., police investigated a report of a theft at Blink clothing store located at 136 West Gay Street.  As a result of an investigation, Lynn Holbrook of West Chester allegedly removed three items of clothing from the store without paying the full retail price.

Stats: From Monday, April 16, through Sunday, April 22, the West Chester police department made 40 arrests.  Those arrests break down by the following charges:

Underage Drinking 5

Public Drunkenness 11

Noise 8

Disorderly Conduct 1

Open Container 5

DUI 1

Assault 1

Littering 1

Theft 1

Burglary 1

Furnishing Alcohol 1

Public Indecency 8
