The following is a press release from PennDOT.

PennDOT, police and safety partners will hold a press conference at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 10, at the West Chester University School of Music, 817 South High Street, West Chester, to highlight a holiday enforcement campaign and encourage safe driving.

Police will explain the sobriety checkpoints, roving patrols and traffic safety patrols they’ll use to crack down on aggressive or impaired drivers.

Also as part of the event, the Pennsylvania DUI Association’s DUI Victims’ Moving Memorial will be on display. The moving memorial is housed in a 30-foot trailer and is a replica of the permanent DUI Victims’ Memorial Garden in Harrisburg. It includes a 25-foot wall printed with the names of people who have been killed by drunk drivers and are honored in the memorial garden.
