Man Arrested for Not Registering as a Sex Offender
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
DUI: West Chester police arrested 21-year-old West Chester resident Alexander Cardamone for an alleged DUI after a car stop in the 100 block of East Gay Street at approximately 3:13 a.m., on August 17.
Robbery: On August 15, at approximately 3 a.m., police say that 22-year-old Newtown Square Resident Brian Ruby allegedly broke into a house located on 18 West Barnard Street and removed property from the home. According to police Ruby allegedly stole an X-Box, and Playstation, video games, an acoustic guitar and a jacket.
Failure to register as a sex offender: On August 15, Christopher Moss was arrested in the 50 block of South Franklin Street. Moss was wanted by the West Virginia State Police for failing to register as a Megan’s Law Sexually Violent Predator. Moss stated that he’d been in the West Chester Area for several days.
Moss was arrested and charged with failing to register as a sex offender in Pennsylvania, and he will be extradited to West Virginia to answer charges there.
