DUI Suspect Allegedly Crashes into Police Car

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

 

DUI: On Nov. 25, at approximately 2:34 a.m., a vehicle collision was observed in the parking lot of the Susquehanna Bank located at 17 East Market Street.  A West Chester police vehicle was stationary in the south side of the lot.  The vehicle was then allegedly struck in the rear by a sport utility vehicle operated by a 26-year-old North Carolina resident named Kevin Thomas.  Thomas allegedly failed a battery of field sobriety tests and was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence.

DUI: On Nov. 22, at approximately 2:30 a.m., West Chester police responded to a motor vehicle crash in the 900 block of Strasburg Road.  As a result of an investigation police arrested a 19-year-old Coatesville resident for an alleged DUI.
